Question about Computers & Internet
I want to change the graphic card to on my toshiba satellite S1800-712, but i dont know it is built into the motherboard.
What can I do ,,my laptop feels so overheat.
thanks for all helping !!!
Just try and check the available, open slots on the system's motherboard, whether it is AGP slot or PCI slot, then buy a VGA card of that type, making sure that you check the VGA Memory of the one you are buying (32M and Above should be ok for you depending on what type of applications you run on the system),
then insert this VGA card into available slot, then when you power up your system, go to the system setup (BIOS) and select the type of graphic card you are using as well as its memory size.
Check that you also select that the system should not use the On-Board graphics under the peripherals option in the BIOS setup also.
Hope it helps.
