REPLACED DVDRAM NOT WORKING
SOURCE: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T20L ATA Device
ok you can do two things to fix it
first of all go to start
go to run
type regedit and hit ok
now in the registry go to this path
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
and remove both upper and lower filters from the right pane
now close the registry editor.
reboot the computer and see if that fixed it or not
if not the download the drivers from this website.

just select the operating system that u have and then download it and reinstall the driver and then reboot the computer
that should be it
if still not working then i guess its a hardware issue
cheers

Note You may also see an UpperFilters.bak registry entry. You do not have to remove that entry. Click UpperFilters only. If you do not see the UpperFilters registry entry, you still might have to remove the LowerFilters registry entry. To do this, go to step 7.
Note If you do not see the LowerFilters registry entry, unfortunately this content cannot help you any further. Go to the "Next Steps" section for information about how you can find more solutions or more help on the Microsoft Web site.
