There are many standards of microphone connectivity with 3 pin XLR (cannon) style plugs. It depends on where in the world you are as to the favoured standard,
Your microphone usesthe following::

Pin
1 ground (white) 2 +ve or hot (red) 3 -ve or return (black)
wires in the microphone at the point where you - d85c055.png
Another way to work out what wires connect to what, is to remove the cover of one of your XLR-XLR microphone cables exposing the connections it favours, plug the connector into the mics scoket , and use the connections to the cable guide you in resoldering the connections back on.
The same connections can be veiwed in the user manual here
Please rate this solution. Cheers

Wires broken off mic cartridge

Hello ,
the simple of knowing the connection is this , but when you open the mic you will see numbers on the terminal written 3, 2, 1.
this represent colour for the wires .
3 REPRESENT THE BLACK WIRE
2 REPRESENT THE RED WIRE
1 REPRESENT THE WHITE WIRE .
After soldering this should work.
Good luck...

Recently I dropped my Beta 87A mic and the 2 wires that connect the mic itself came disconnected from the mic. I want to know how to resolder the mic. Thanks in advance. Norbert

I take it they are the wires to the diaphragm not the cable (XLR) connector.Be very carefull when soldering the wires back on. A small solder iron with a pointed tip works best. The positve terminal should be marked with a small red dot.The red wire goes there and the black on the negative. Be carefull and take your time.

You need to replaced the "voice coil". that thing that youve been desoldering and soldering is the voice coil. It has two wires- white and black. it is already grounded and need to be replace (the fact that it humms..). my company distribute wow magic sing here in Philippines and we can easily repair that.

Battery leads

Can You state exactly what the toy is. Maker, Name, model, pictures, year of manufacture. Details help the research process.
But try this...
If talking about a circuit, look where all the solders are, You can sometimes find a solder point that doesn't have a smooth top it will look like something broke off. Find two of these...To tell the difference when you find them which wire goes where, the solder point that traces back to any capacitor ( a cylindrical component with two leads on its bottom that has a black strip down its side noting which lead is negative.) The black wire can be soldered back to the point that traces back to a negative lead. Then the positive (red) will go to the other one.

If this does not help see if you can upload a good quality pic of both sides of the circuit if possible.

Wiring cartridge

The "Standard wiring" is: Red = Right Hot= R Green= Right Ground= RG White= Lefty Hot= L Blue= Left Ground = LG Black if used is "Ground" and should be connected to a seperate ground circuit. Seems to me you are missing a couple of solder points. Also try twisting the pairs together but not all 4 together; i.e.(red & grn) (White & blue) to reduce "hum". Hope this helps.
