Hotpoint WF645 error message: test

Hotpoint WF645 error message 'test', lights go on one by one, but it doesn't fill with water, and it spins for a couple of minutes - without actually doing the wash cycle. Kind of like it's doing a test run.Tried switching off, leaving for awhile, reloading.Has been working fine until now.Thank you!

F05 - Pressure switch jammed on full - Check pump for blackages. Also check the drain pipe 2 so that it can drain out. if you have checked for blockages and can not find any reset machine by switching off at plug for 5 mins then back on and try again hope this helps.

My Hotpoint WF645 washes ok but is very noisy, especially during the final spin. Any suggestions why this might be?

sounds like it could be a bearing going out, or simply might be something stuck around the drum

Hotpoint WT761 washing machine - Error code F-10 The machine is filling with water, then signalling F-10, then pumping the water out. So the fill solenoid and the pump are working OK. If I set the machine...

Thats strange, F10 means no cold fill.
Ok back to basics, you can check the pressure switch by taking off the tube and gently blowing into it and I mean gently, you should hear a click if its ok - make sure the other end is'nt blocked, blow it out with a cycle pump near the drum end

Softner still in the draw

The detergent/softner dispenser is located above the detergent drawer. A water pipe is connected to it and water entrance and distribution to drawer's cells (following the programmed cycle)are done by a lever's movement (part of the dispenser). The lever movement is controlled by two solenoids that received their power from the timer. By opening upper machine's cover you will have an access to the dispenser. Disconnect the power cable from the machine before moving to next step !!!! Look first that they are not any disconnected wires. Move manually dispenser's lever and see if water running to all cells (depend on your movement). In case it doesn't work properly remove the unit from the machine and try to clean it (I hope it will help, otherwise you should replace the unit). In case it works properly (manually) - you should test with a multi-tester solenoid's resistance. the one that doesn't have a resistance measurement should be replaced. Good luck !!
