When i installed the att air card and when it restarted the sound keyboard and mouse did not work.

Try uninstalling the network card from Sprint and if it works then you have a compatibility issue and need to contact either Acer (which is not their problem) or Sprint for further advice.

My mouse and keyboard won't work...after i restart it several times,then it works,,,it will wake up out of standby or start up,but the mouse won't move,sometimes when the mouse does move the keyboard won't...


i assumed that you use device PS2 (Mouse & Keyboard), this rarely situation, but you haved installed and not more better, because the problem not with your system, but with your hardware, maybe you can change with USB Mouse Device and for Keyboard PS2 is better than USB Keyboard.

I have no sound on my computer but do if playing offline on an installed game. I have checked all wires, icons, speakers, batteries, mute, updated...only to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Have...


click start control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll to cd/dvd rom drives right click properties then properties again then tick enable cd digital cd audio for this cd rom device or scroll to dvd regions select the no _ for your specific area
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then restart your computer then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
make sure you have the correct keyboard and mouse selected
you might have to uninstall your keyboard and mouse then restart your computer and reinstall them make sure that you have there drivers backed up on a disk before uninstalling them
click start control panel,keyboard select hardware you will see which keyboard it is this will also apply to your mouse
also select properties,general you will have options to troubleshoot,driver roll back uninstall ,update driver
or click start control panel administrive tools computer managent device manager scroll to keyboard you could see a yellow question mark? right click to install drivers

is it a usb keyboard? If so it must be enabled in BIOS. Also if enabled OK, then when at desktop next,, unplug and re-plug into another usb socket and it should be detected and a driver will install, thaat may fix it?

Activation of keyboard


Did you receive a install disk for the keyboard and mouse. typically you need to run the install disk and then plug in the usb hub for the keyboard and mouse to be recognized by the computer. If tha does not work, restart the machinew/the usb hub and keyboard and mouse ready. Are there good batteriesin the keyboard, mouse and usb hub?

Acer 5515 keyboard and touch pad nor usb ports working wont let you login to windows after loading AT&T wireless device


you can connect a wired mouse to the laptop from the rear. that is the only way that you will able to do something for now.
once you have the ablility to navigate in GUI., delete the ATT wireless device driver. and restart the laptop.
if you still have noo control after that, you have different porblem. if that solved you porblem then, you need to get a different ATT wirelss card or a updated driver fro that card.

No audio sound after installing the keyboard software


when you loaded the software for the keyboard, the buttons on the keyboard for functions will be active, have you made sure that the mute key on the keyboard is not pressed 'on' to mute the sound?

Mouse stops responding randomly


The issue may not necessarily be with the mouse. Are you able to use the keyboard once the mouse freezes? If you not even able to use the keyboard, there is some application installed on your computer or a virus due to which the mouse freezes. If, in case, the keyboard works even though the mouse is stuck, try changing the USB port or try a different mouse. Please revert back with any other observations. Good Luck
