Question about Computers & Internet
When I try to type on microsoft word I am told that i cannot do anything on word because it is locked. If I receive an e-mail with a word document attached samed thing happens.I cannot modify because it is locked and furthermore it does not ask for a password.
Some authors (for example, of forms to be filled out) "lock" their documents under Windows. This is incredibly annoying, as it prevents you from fixing errors or adding anything (e.g., addenda) to the document.
If you web-search on "unlock word document," you get a bunch of pages with advice that doesn't work under Windows XP. (I know, as I've tried them all.) Here is a method that actually works.
that is: word password recovery 5.0, a simple tool to unlock word document within a few minutes.
