Cant do anything

Since you don't have sound on the computer, its possible the drivers are missing for sound, and possibly for other things also, you may be missing your network card drivers, or wireless drivers and so your unable to open up the router page.

Note that your network cards ipaddress needs to be changed to the right range for the page to open.

if your router / modem manual says the default ip is 192.168.0.1 then you will need to set your computers ip to the same range, 192.168.0.5 / 255.255.255.0 for example.

ones you have been in the modem, remember to restore the ip to automatic so you have internet access when it works again.

Note that if your just missing the drivers, after installing the drivers your internet should work automatically without looking inside the modem.

check your ipadres ,subnet and gateway in old computer then set those ip in new computer then check .
You can view your ip adreses with "ipconfig /all" command in command prompt.
