Question about Lands Phones
My answering machine is an old, out of date Southwestern Bell GH3150 for which there is no online or phone tech support. My manual states nothing about changing message length and there is nothing on the phone or answering machine that I see relating to message length. Callers were originally able to leave a message up to 2 minutes. Since changing batteries, a caller can only leave about a 10-12 second message before being cut off.
The only thing I can think of is that there is a switch which determines recording time, there was on mine and then there was the VOX option which only recorded as long as they were speaking and cut them off if they didn't talk quickly. You might check and see if somehow they got turned on.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
