SOURCE: One of the phones gives the message

If other phones are working with this base, then you may need to register the phone with the base. You will have to check your manual for how to do this. Some phones have it on their menu and some do it by simply placing the phone in the base unit. I'm not sure what model you have or how old your system is. Hope this helps. Good luck!

SOURCE: KEEPS SAYING NO LINK TO BASE - RECONNECT MAIN

Hi,

ry this.

Registering a handset to a base unit

1 Base unit:

Press and hold {LOCATOR} for 4 seconds until the registration tone

sounds.

  • If all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button to stop. Then repeat this step.
  • The next step should be completed within 90 seconds.

2 Handset:

Press {OK}, then wait until a long beep sounds.

Note:

  • While registering, "Base registering" is displayed on all

registered handsets.

If the problem does not resolve, check that the AC cord is seated fully at the base of the unit and that the handset is fully charged.Use a different fuse for the phone to eliminate blown fuse issue which could be quite common.

If the problem persists, you need to send the phone for repair.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

When i push the power butten, the indicator light flickers, then nothinghappens

Firstly remove the battery and disconnect the A.C adaptor. Press and hold the power button for 30sec and then reconnect them back and check.

Check the port where u connect the A.C adaptor pin if the light is glowing then need to reseat the RAM and the Hard drive of the laptop (Compartments located at the bottom of the laptop)
If still not comming on then Hardware issue take it to local store.

But if the port where u connect the A.C adaptor doesnt have light then
1. check with different wall outlet
2. check if the adaptor is getting warm or not if not then replace it.
3. If yes then better check with different ac adaptor

JBL on stage micro will not charge my ipod any more. It plays songs fine from the ipod but for some reason is not charging it. Any suggestions?

The JBL Onstage Micro is supposed to disable recharging of the iPod when running off AAA batteries to avoid draining them, but sometimes this setting gets stuck even when the unit is plugged in through the AC adaptor. The workaround that I found is pulling out and reconnecting the iPod to the Onstage Micro (while both are powered on) and then unplugging and reconnecting the AC adaptor. Sometimes you have to repeat this process, but the iPod should start recharging after that. I tried it on the new 5th generation nano and this seems to work.

My XSA 975 telephone was accidently disconnected from the power outlet. When reconnected I found cannot dial out but can receive calls inward. I have tried disconnecting the AC adaptor and reconnecting...

I unplugged the AC Adaptor from the wall socket and left unplugged for an hour or so (a few minutes as per the trouble shooting advice page in the instruction manual did not work). I then reconnected the adaptor to the power and the phone returned to normal service.

Cordless phones display "No link to base.Move closer to base", when an attempt is made to make a call.

Used online phone manual/troubleshooting section to resolve issue. Disconnected AC Adaptor from electric source and reconnect to reset. Problem solved.
