Question about Carrier 38CKC036 Air Conditioner
The fan on my outside unit is not turning on. All I hear is a buzzing noise every so often. I have a little air coming through the vents in my house but it is not cold.
Change the capacitor. also check to see if the right amount of volts are getting to the unit. look at the contact and put your meter on the appropiate sides and see if its 220-240. if it is, good, then change your capacitor. If not, then stop and call someone who knows what they re doing with electricity. its supposed to get 220-240. if its only getting 110 or so, then your electric co. has a problem. you might want to let it set for a while and try to turn it back on and see eaht happens.......... aint no pro but had the same problems..............
