Question about Harmon Kardon Harman Kardon Avr335 Receiver Remote For Avr230 Avr 230

Open Question

I'm unable to change inputs. I don't have the remote...

Using the front panel (on DVD, or CD): I press "Digital Select" scroll to 'Coax 3'. Press "Set" button. Then Devices starts flashing the 'L' & 'R' indicating the Left & Right speakers. Then after about 3 seconds it reverts back to 'Analog' for the input. How Can I change the input?! Please help. Sincerely; Alex

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Sound is really quiet with inputs

Hello. Please be sure that you are plugging your iPod into the tape in, or play, and not into the record out, or record. If you have these reversed, you will greatly lower the signal level going to the amplifier.

Press the SFC MODE switches at the same time to enter the "settings".
Change these settings to suit the connections you have made to the three digital input terminals, COAX, OPT1 and OPT2, so that the correct source is selected when you turn [INPUT SELECTOR].
The factory settings are: CD: COAX
DVD: OPT 2
TV: OPT 1

If you are allowed change them all to Coaxial. That should solve the sound problem.

Unable to assign optical and digital inputs to other inputs

It won't let you assign the same input twice. Check to see that DVD is not already assigned to any other In(x) function.

From the manual:
• You cannot select a specific item more than once.
• You cannot assign the same input source to both “IN (2)” and
“IN (3)”. For example, you assign “CD” to “IN (2)”, “–––”
appears in “IN (3)”.
