Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I have no instructions on how to set up the webcam to my desktop computer. I dont know the serial number nor the model number . the only thing I see on the wires are these numbers p/n b61050-0050 and also...

Hey Dont worry most logitech's are plug and play systems. Meaning you plugit in and windows installs the driver automatically. If you have windows Vista or windows 7, plug it in, then go to windows update and check for new updates. The Driver will be located in an option update. Select it and install it.

I cannot get mt Logitech Quickcam to work. I have the disk but it will not install the drivers. The model number is MN-V-UAM27A

Make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for RAM memory, Operating system and hard drive space. You probably need at least 512 Mb of ram to run it properly.

Here are some links to some of the documentation available for the model number you quoted:

http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/ci/fattach/get/28493//session/L2F2LzEvc2lkL1R0M25GSXJr

http://www.logitech.com/en-ca/435/222?WT.z_sp=Image&osid=1&bit=32

I do not believe the utility program that came with your webcam (QuickCam 8.4.8) is compatible with windows Vista or Windows 7. See the following compatibility chart for details:

http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3428/section/troubleshoot/crid/435/lt_product_id/222/tabs/1,3,2,5/cl/ca,en/kw/

The easiest way to install it properly is to go to the Logitech Support website and run their Hardware Auto Detect utility which will automatically detect what operating system you have and what webcam you have plugged in and will direct you to the correct driver download and install page.

You can find the Logitech Support site at the following link:

Good luck.

How can i install my webcam driver i lost my driver of windows vista now im windows 7 home basic

It depends on the manufacturer and model-identifier of the webcam?

For example, if you have a HP web-cam, access http://support.hp.com
and do a search, after entering the model-number.
Select the downloadable device-drivers for Windows Vista.

Or, do something similar for a Logitech web-cam -- by accessing Logitech's web-site.

I bought a web cam. How do I install it?

Hi,
Some webcam models are plug and play.
It would have been good, if you mentioned the Operating System on the computer (Windows XP , Vista , Windows 7 : 32 bit / 64 bit), as well as the exact model of the Logitech Webcam.
The Logitech Webcam may have come along with a disk for the driver(s) : i.e : it's software(s).
Or, you may install it's drivers from the Logitech website, by clicking on the foll. link :-
http://www.logitech.com/en-in/support-downloads
Over there, you have an option to select the Logitech Webcam's model & the Operating System on the computer, and you can install the drivers from there.
Since you will be using Skype, make sure that on Skype, under video settings, the Logitech Webcam is selected.
I hope the above details do suffice.

Can't get my quick cam traveler to work on my vista works good on my xp but it won't work on the vista?

You are downloading the VISTA software for your webcam ?
You can download from here
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/405/&cl=us,en?prodcrid=405
As it's an older model scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit the link "Still can't find your product"
Click on the picture of your cam to move to the support page for that model.
Disconnect webcam
Uninstall current software
Restart computer
Download installer
Run installer - connect webcam when prompted

Lost installation cd of my logitech quickcam messenger 2

regardless of the model, you will be able to find the CD contents for your webcam in the link below.

http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/

but if you have a vista usually you won't have to use the CD anymore, if the PC is online just let it search and download the right drivers for your webcam.

good luck.
