Problem for Buffalo Technology 1TB DriveStation TurboUSB (2x500)...
1 TB is beeping
I recently started using the 1TB Buffalo External Hard Drive and it worked fine for about 30 minutes, then i put my laptop (using Vista) to sleep and came back 45 minutes later to boot it up and it did not recognize the hard drive, I have tried restarting both the computer and the hard drive and all it does is beep constantly unless i turn the device off...
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

After doing some research it seems the beeping means that there is a disk failure.
Prop off the front of the unit, remove the drive and replace it. The unit will automatically rebuild the drive, which takes about 8 hours
