As a HTC wildfire a333 owner there is no way to make this smart phone connect to the internet through the USB cable I tray many ways like : root-ing my phoneinstall another custom ROMs no way bro the only possible to connect to internet sharing the PC connection is using WIFI, if u have a wireless router or making your PC "Laptop" as access point. sorry, I wish it could help saving your time in searching.

Go to http://www.virtual-ap.com/ and download Virtual Access Point. You'll get all instructions on the website. Basically you'll still connect your USB internet to your laptop and this SW will help you share internet with other devices at your home/office. Let me know how it goes, hope this helps :)
