Question about Garden

1 Answer

Husqvarna riding started once but not the second time.

I have a Husqvarna riding mower (about 5 years old) that I have been running each week. Today I went to use it and complete two yards that I do for other people. It started up fine for the first yard, but it would not start for the second yard (engine would not turn over). The neihbor next door said he had a similar problem because the pistons and compression. We jumped it, and it ran fine. Is this a battery problem, or do need to do something else?

Sounds like it i would get the battery load tested first then check and clean all the battery connectors with a file. And go from there.

How could gas be entering the crankcase of my Husqvarna 48" riding lawn mower?

Sounds like you have a hole 'burnt' in the piston top allowing fuel combustion mixture (normally compressed above the piston) getting down into the crankase or that the piston rings are shot allowing the same thing.
As the piston is continuously moving, the reverse happens giving oil at the intake or carb.

. Looks like a strip down, good inspection and rebuild of engine required .

Could be a broken belt, loose belt (stretched) or something is under the mower deck jamming the blades. (stick for an example)
