1210 is very reliable printer and....have not seen those kind of problem..
Otherwise, check your cartridge...and how much amount of ink you have.
Sometime, if you are out of ink, the printer won't let you scan,, copy....
If you would like to save money, try refill kit by "ROADINK". Not only they are easy, but also the printing quality is good. For your better understanding pls check out my youtube video. And will see how easy ink refill can be done.
the most important is to remove all the air from the cartridge that has left inside durring refilling that is why professionals are using special machines that refill in 0 air πρεσυρε using vaccum pump
you can check here a video on how to refill with out any special equipment
hello, i have found that refilled ink cartridges fail more than hp oem, and that mixing, refilled with hp oem, sometimes the refilled will cause a short, and point to the wrong cartridge as being deffective. though i have had the actuall carriage unit fail electronicly. but the simpliest thing to do would clean the electronics on the cartridge, as well as the contacts on the carraige unit, you will need isopropyl alcohol, and a soft paper towel. if that does not work, then i would recommend replace both ink cartridges with hp oem inks, not refills.
Thanks for using FixYa. First of all please try the refill cartridge on some other printer. If it’s working fine on the other printer then check the settings of the printer which are by default 960 dpi (dots per inch) but due to some reason this size has been reduced. Now you have to change this setting to more than 960, around 1200 dpi and then check out that if your printer works fine. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance. Thanks Rylee
HP printers use cartridges that ARE the print head. On occasion, the cartridge could be defective...especially if they are the remanufactured type. Try replacing your cartridge with a new HP cartridge.
refilling catridges is not advisable it is better always go for new one .bcoz the ink which is used for refilling it is not good which is damaged the print head and the the catridge nozzle . i will advise you to buy a new actridge and install .
