Question about Computers & Internet
I'm using windows xp home edition the comp.had a virus i got the virus out but now when i boot up my computer goes to the dell flash screen and then to a black screen with a error that reads Floppy disk seek failure, type the system password and press enter with a blinking cursor on the end.i took the hard drive out and installed it in my HP and removed the virus but now when i i put it back in it's original place black screen. please help
You had "Floppy disk seek failure" per your comment. Therefore this is not a problem with your hardisk. Your BIOS was configured boot up from Floppy that was why when you booted up it was looking for info from the Floppy, so if it could not find, it was sure to report to you. Just pop something out of your Floppy then you should be OK. Cheer.
