I got a new computer with windows 10 and can no longer program from the computer. Are you coming out with new drivers for windows 10

try removing printer from control panel - printer and devices (right click start icon bottom left corner - select control or settings from menu - I don't use windows 10 much !)
then right click on start and select system . Note the Windows operating system and if it is 64 bit whether it is windows 10s or windows home edition .
Then go back to hp driver download web site and download the matching driver with your printer model and operating system.
Run driver install program you just downloaded to install driver and it should find your hp printer and set it up in windows.

Download and install the Driver Booster program from Iobit. Let it scan your drivers and it will offer to install new or updated drivers. This program is freeware.

Unfortunately this program is not supported on Microsoft's new operating system Windows 10 as it requires .Net Framework 1.1. There are currently no updates available as Microsoft is no longer supporting .Net Framework 1.1.
So if it says anywhere in the instructions "requires Net Framework 1.1" then it won't run. It was compatible with Windows 7.

Right now you would need to install either Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. Neither is as good as 10, and will not be supported for much longer. Microsoft is also currently pushing Windows 10 upgrades to users, so you may be either encouraged or eventually forced to upgrade.

If you still want to install a different version you MUST have a valid install CD/DVD and product key. Put the CD in the drive, start the computer and press any key when prompted to ("Press any key to boot from CD or DVD"). The install will wipe out any previous version of Windows (choose format drive) AND any data or other programs you have on the computer.

It's probably just a case of finding the right drivers for it. Search for your burner make and model number with the word "drivers" and see if any come up for Windows 10.

The trouble might be Windows 7, sine it is not supported any longer and the drivers might be for Windows 10.
You might have to upgrade to Windows 10 to fix it or take it to a computer shop.
