Quiet front R channel on Sony

My sony str-de875 has a very quiet front right channel. The left channel works fine but the right one outputting at 75% lower volume. Is there anything I can do, maybe tighten a loose connection? Or is the problem deeper than that?

Yep. Even replaced the speaker wire. It's definitely the receiver itself.

Does problem persist when you connect other speaker to front right channel? (i.e. when you connect your FL speaker to FR and vice versa)?

Str-gx800es sony receiver problem- right channel speaker sound is 'static', low and distorted. I have checked checked all speaker and output/input source cable connections with no luck. All left channel...

If you have checked the speakers and wiring, the right channel has a audio driver or output problem, which explains the low volume, static, and distortion. A service technician will be required to fix the receiver so it will balance the left side.

Only one speaker working on my str-de675 receiver

If the speakers themselves work fine, then the problem lies within the amplifier output. The channels can go bad after hard use, they can be repaired but it may well exceed the cost of the amp if it is not just one channel. Also be sure that you are hooking up speakers that are rated for your amplifier by matching the OHM resistance of the amplifier to compatible speakers.

The Output Volume Is Extremely Low!

Sometimes the rear channels can be used as a 2nd zone. Does the unit have A&B speaker selection on front panel? Usually if it has a 2nd zone it will say in owerns manual or on back of unit or on front panel as well. That is when you have the option to adjust the volume in the menu on the 2nd zone. GURU JAY

Sound turns off for Sony STR-DE875 amp

If you do not here a click as soon as the power is turned on, (note you must be in a very quite environment no noise absolutely to hear this) then the amplifier has blown output transistors which are pushing DC current to the speakers.
