How to program a tcl 21h73s with universal remote control

You have to contact the manufacturer of the universal for the code. If none, you are out of luck

Hi, each TV has its own specific set of codes it uses. But regarding universal remotes and programming them they are all different. universal remote manufactured by "one for all" might have the working set of codes for your TV under code 1234, and universal remote "RCA" might have the working code for your TV under 987. so the code depends on the universal remote you are using.

So we need to know the brand and model number of your universal remote you are programming to find you the correct code. And even if we do find the correct remote and manual for your universal, there is a big possibility that the universal remote will still not work.

Wanna know the code for a emerson tv

Which universal remote are you trying to program? The codes will vary by manufacturer (RCA, One-For-All, etc). Most of the universal remotes manufacturers have support sites for their remotes with either code lists or code finders available. For RCA remotes, start here: http://rcaaudiovideo.com/remotecodefinder/ and enter the model of the remote and the device type. Then look for the brand of your device.

Some devices are made by another manufacturer and the code for the company that built the unit may work if the brand of the device isn't listed.

Please note that universal remote codes are limited to those for devices released more than 6 months before the remote was programmed. If your device is newer than the remote, you may need a new remote.

I hope this helps.

Need code fore tv remote control one for all remote URC-3220

The code list is available here: http://www.oneforall-na.com/remote.php?type=URC3220 . The code list is near the bottom of the page. Without the make of your TV I can only provide the list.

How old is your TV or device? Unfortunately, if your device came onto the market after the remote was programmed or 6 months before the remote was programmed, then it may not have the correct code. (There is a time lag for the codes to get to the universal remote manufacturers.)

If your remote doesn't work after trying all the codes, you may need a newer universal remote, a programmable universal remote (the ones that connect to a computer for programming) or a substitute/original of exact remote for your TV/device. Try remotes.com for the substitute remote (search on the model number, do not include the manufacturer for best results).

I hope this helps.

(If your manufacturer has a parts store online, you may be able to get a replacement remote.)

Universal remote that work?

There is a way to program the comcast universal remote to the TV. If you still have the programming instructions, use the automatic search/ program function instead of manualy entering the product code. This usually works better since some TV manufacturers sell the same TV under other product names. Good luck. Please leave positive feedback if my answer is useful. Good luck

Universal Remote

are you programming the remotes with the codes for the TV manufacturer, as most Universals have to be programmed to the manufacturers remote codes to function, or Most if not all universals have a scan for the code function, refer to the manuals did theTV originally come with a remote, I am assuming so, if it didn't the TV may not have an IR reciever for the remote to work.
If this helps, please give a fixya rating, every one helps

Tv remote code

Trying to program a universal remote can sometimes be a frustrating process. Successful programming of a universal remote depends on whether the universal remote manufacturer included our company’s information in the remote when it was assembled.

Then a cable company (ie., Comcast) or satellite provider (ie., Dish Network) orders their decoder box and universal remote control from a manufacturer (ie., Scientific Atlanta, Motorola, etc.), the decoder box manufacturer provides a list of all the possible remote controls this universal can duplicate. From that list the cable company or satellite selects which manufacture’s products to include on their new universal remote. Once those manufacturers names have been decided, they are placed on the universal remote and a numeric code is assigned. If they choose not to include our company on the universal remote, the universal remote may not access the Maxent screen.

If you cannot locate Maxent on the list provided to you by the universal remote provider, please try the following:

Through contact with various cable and satellite content providers we have developed a list of the most common numeric codes that are used with universal remotes.

Content Provider/Most commonly used code

Comcast: 1755
Comcast (ML-3251HLT Model): 0054
Insight: 1755

Direct TV: 11755
Dish Network: 742
Cable Vision: 165
Adelphia: 0156, 1755
Universal: 0762
One4All: 0036
Time Warner: 0230

We have identified other manufacturers of display products that have similar remote control information to ours. Depending on the universal remote you are using these manufacturers may work. Please use the documentation that accompanied your universal remote, and look up the following companies. Input the numeric code associate with that company.

Gateway
Sampo
Viewsonic
Magnavox
Phillips
Marantz
Pilot

If the universal remote you are trying to program contains a Code Search (the remote will scan through all the codes contained within the universal remote) function, we recommend that you try that procedure. It is possible that there may be another manufacturer code that may work with our monitor.

You may also want to try a Learning Remote from another manufacturer. This type of remote control can absorb or record the information coming directly out of the Maxent remote control. The learning remote then duplicates that information and acts like the Maxent Remote control. This type of remote can also record the signal coming from your other universal remotes in the same manner. In which case you can use this learning remote for your entire audio video system

please rate the chat session that got disconnected due to slow server if this helps.and if does not helps please reply for further help.

Remote Programs To TV, But Buttons Are Not Working Properly

Program the remote with the code/codes provided by the remotes manufacturer until you find the one that gives you the functions that you desire, or you could look for the OEM remote from the manufacturer of the TV or on an auction site.
A lot of times the universals won't perform all the functions that the original one does.
Good Luck.
