WHY IS THE TOP HALF OF THE REFRI. WARMER THEN THE BOTTOM HALF, I HAVE TO LOWER THE FOOD TO GET ENOUGH COLDNESS?

There is normally an adjustment knob inside the fridge, in the back or top to allow you to adjust the coldness. Numbered 1-9.
If you have already adjusted that it would help if I know the type (side by side, freezer on top or below) and the brand. Most side by sides blow some of the air from the freezer side into the fridge side with internal fans and vents. How is the freezer side coldness knob adjusted?
I would set both knobs to 5 and go get yourself a outdoor thermometer to put in each side. It should be about 35 in the fridge and about zero in the freezer. Remember it will be warmer in the top and colder in the bottom of each.
Was the thermostat you replaced in the freezer or fridge?

is it a fan oven if so sounds like fan not working or top element gone

It's possible the unit is not working correctly as it expects the air temperature to be around 18 degrees centigrade. If too cold, they can go into a defrost cycle.

If your food is not cold enough - but your room is frozen - can you pack your freezer items in snow? Alternatively, move the unit to a warmer area.

Sounds strange - but modern units don't work well in the cold !

I assume you mean that the top half of the mixer, above the pivot pin, moves with respect to the lower half of the mixer, the stand part. There is a pin on which the top half pivots which becomes loose.

Turn the mixer over and look up where the pin goes through the two pieces. There is a screw there which secures the pin. Tap the pin into position and tighten the screw.

Sounds like the fan in the freezer is not working ( pt# WR60X190 ) .

Is it running all the time without cycling off and on as it should be doing?
Sorry to have to tell you this news.
But this would mean a bad thermostat or insufficient freon in the cooling system.

The same issue with the fact that one compartment is warm and the other is cool!

empty frig side totally shelves too remove white plugs too lite and both panels leave1 screw in upper narrow panel remove 2 shelf supports in middle of frig carefully pull on top of wider bottom panel with constant pressure its frozen behind i took hair dryer once seperated enough at top and dethawd till panel was removable totally thawed reassemble frig works fine

the heat is from the condensor keeping the door from frezzing shut it is normal but you need to adjust the food compartment contorl it might say for a for a coler frezzor turn up then you do and the food compartment gets warmer all it is is a air baffle to alow more cold air into the food compartment turn the cold control half way its the one that has off on it and then turn the other control to a lower number to make more cold go into the food compartment
