Where's the oil drain plug for 2010 low fatboy harley


Which of the three drain plugs. Primary is on primary case below derby cover; transmission is on right side middle bottom of transmission, engine is at bottom of right rear frame down tube intermediately forward of rear tire. ALL are 5/8 inch hex plugs with 1/4 inch Allen socket in the middle of the plug.

the drain plug will be situated underneath the engine in between the two cylinders. Before changing the oil if possible run the engine for a few minutes to warm the oil then remove the sump or drain plug, and dont forget to change the oil filter as well.

Hi Chanceycoalm, you drained the transmission, replace oil with 20-24 oz. HD Transmission Lubricant. The engine oil drain plug is on the bottom of the frame tube right hand side all the way in the rear. Have nice day.

Hi Vander, the Harley Bible says, engine should be at normal operating tempurature, let idle on jiffy stand for two minutes. Shut off engine and hold bike straight up, correct engine oil level will be at the top full mark. Do not overfill oil tank as this will cause engine breathing issues. Drain the oil when it's hot. on the oil tank there should be a drain hose that goes down and hitches to the frame on the bottom of the frame there should be a drain bolt. That is your engine oil drain plug and should be on the right side

Need to find engine oil drain plug on 93 fatboy 1340


The engine oil drain plug is on the right side of the bike. Actually, it's a hose with a plug in it. Look just behind the chrome transmission clutch release cover on the right side of the bike. You'll see a large diameter hose that should be held to the frame by a clip with a metal plug in it. Just loosen the hose clamp and drain the oil from the tank. Remove the oil tank dip stick for faster drainage.

2001 fatboy service


Fatboy, drains from the oil tank bottom right side rubber tube goes down to frame, bolt in frame is plug. Have to get to it from underneath. This is only engine oil. After oil change three quarts, if change filter 3.5 quarts.

2002 FLSTF Fatboy needs oil change


I have a 05 Fatboy and the drain plug is hidden inside the frame rail on the right side by the swing arm it's a 5/8s plug.
