Question about Starbucks Saeco Italia Digital Barista Coffee Machine
My Italia did not finish its cycle when making a cup of espresso. The dispenser was at the top of the stroke with the puck still in the compression area. This made it where it not only didn't work but the dispenser could not be removed. I took the dispenser unit apart so I could get it disengaged from the main body of the espresso maker.
Now the shaft that drives the dispenser mechanism is not in a position so that I can put the dispenser back in. I have tripped all the sensors and made the machine go through a coffee making cycle. When it is done the shaft is still not in the right position to receive the dispenser. Strangely it is not in a postion to receive the dispenser at all, it is a hair past the postion when the dispenser is at the top of its stroke (a hair past full compression of the coffee puck). Any help would be appreciated.
Check this document out to make sure the gear is in the right location. The machine in the document is a different type however the way the gear lines up is the same.
