Pull the faring, check for loose wires on the speaker. This is a common problem.

When bike is cold while riding I hear a sqeaking noise coming from the clutch. When I pull clutch lever in it stops. It gets louder when I accelerate. I don't know if a bearing or what it is, any ideas?

Hi Anonymous, sure could be a bearing and I'm sorry but I loaned my listening ears to the lead technician at your local Harley Dealer so he could take your bike for a test ride and evaluate the noise. Have a nice day.

Had bad battery and had to jump my 04 road king was cranking and then quit . wont run now .. wrong lights come on when key is on

Looks like you may have incorrectly jump started your bike. If you have, then possible major damage - ECU - regulator - stator - the list could be endless. People often put + to - and this means reverse polarity. Same as putting you battery in backwards. Bang.

Bike won't start, new Harley battery, and starter bike 2006 FLHX Street Glide, all I get is a clicking noise from solenoid under seat

I'm not too familiar with the later model bikes but if I were getting a clicking noise under the seat and the bike was not starting, I'd investigate the source of the noise. It's possible that it is a starter relay that engages the solenoid that is an integral part of the starter. Look at the starter from the right hand side of your bike. You'll see a single small wire that connects to the end of the starter just above the end plate of the solenoid. Disconnect this wire and connect a test light or volt meter to the wire. Turn on your ignition switch and press the start button. You should hear the click under the seat and see voltage at the end of that wire. If not, replace the relay, a plastic cube about an inch in dimension.

Good Luck
Steve

2002 HD Dyna Super Glide front brake noise at low speed until slight pressure applied to brake lever

If it sounds like "swish-swish" noise, that is nornal for your bike. HD changed the front brakes in the 90's and the result was better stopping performance but there is that darned swishing sound. Don't worry about it, mate, there's nothing wrong with your bike.

Now, if you start to hear squealing when you pull the lever, take the bike to a shop to have the brakes pads replaced. If you feel vibration when you apply the brakes, take it to a shop immediately and have them check the wheel spokes for tightness.

My 05 road king drive belt is worn on one side. when looking down at the belt from inner side edge towards the center it is worn 1/4 inch across like the belt is rubbing on something. I'll replace the belt...

Has the bike been lowered? If so, this decreases the clearance at the top side of the belt where it goes behind the inner primary cover. Also there may be a belt guard rubbing somewhere. Remove the belt guards and use a flashlight to look for something rubbing.

When you replace the belt, you'll be able to see anything that might be rubbing the belt. Usually there is a noise associated with something rubbing the belt. If you hear a noise, determine what the bike is doing when you hear it. Is it going up or down after hitting a bump or something? Do you only hear the noise when you've got a passenger on the bike?

Amp noise. when bike is off speakers sounds fine.

It may be your plugs and or wires. Make sure your plugs are the resistance type and the plug wires are shielded.
