I need a manual so that I can set the phone up at a new location must have lost it in the move.

Check to see that you did not get too large a card for the phone. Your manual will tell you the limits you have to abide by.

You can try using a file manager like ES File Explorer to move music and images from bluetooth folder to SD card.

As far as I know, you cannot natively change the storage location settings for Bluetooth shares. In order to move the files to another location, you need to use a file manager, such as ES File Explorer, to locate the Bluetooth share folder, and then move the files to a location of your choice. Unless you use a third party app for Bluetooth file transfers that allow changing the default location, you manually have to move the files after each transfer.

If I were you I would just download the manual from Philips for nothing. I cannot give you a direct link because you do not specify the model number but you should be able to find it yourself easily. First, you need to de-register the handset from the current base. Then register it to the new base. On the handset, press Menu then navigate (up/down arrows) to Handset Settings and press OK. Next navigate to Registration and press OK.

For deregistration: navigate to Deregister then press 3 3 5 . Then select which handset to deregister (1-6) (the handset number will flash when it is selected) and press OK. Select Yes and then OK. When the deregistration is complete, press OFF.

For registrations, navigate to HS Registration then press OK. Then move to the base and press and hold the Locator button until the registration tone starts. If all the handset ring, press the locator button to stop the response and start over. Within a minute and a half of the registration tone starting, press OK on the handset and wait until a beep sounds and the symbol on the screen stops flashing.

check wheather the phone is in silence mood and change the settings and then change ringer volume .

Norstar doesn't like phones to be moved around some times on the old norstar systems moving phones caused problems. How old is this system and in programming there is a setting called set relocation this has to be a yes to move sets.To move a set to another local unplug both sets wait 1 min. plug one set in it's new local wait 1 min. plug other set in its new local.

I did a little troubleshooting--in other words looked for the obvious--such as Menu...then kept on until I saw the number (original) out there--then, just plugged in the new one.
