Hi ribs
do you still see the menu when inserting / running the DVD in your portable DVD player? if so then we have a bad video converter and if not, there is a possiblity that digital connector of the player to the ldc monitor has been disconnected or has been torn.
this specific part is available, lemme know what we are dealing with first so we can go on having this one troubleshot.
