Can I remove and raise the roof on a 2009 uplander to make it a camper van

Modifying a 2009 Chevrolet Uplander to create a camper van by removing and raising the roof is a complex undertaking. While it's technically possible, it requires advanced automotive skills, structural modifications, and compliance with safety standards. Roof removal and elevation must consider the vehicle's structural integrity, weight distribution, and aerodynamics. Consulting with a professional automotive engineer or conversion specialist is crucial to ensure the modifications meet safety regulations. Moreover, local authorities may have specific regulations governing such alterations. Before attempting any modifications, thoroughly research and consult experts to ensure the camper van conversion is both safe and legal.

How to install a 2008 chevrolet uplander van a/c compressor kit

Michael, this job requires special tools. You need to recover the refrigerant. But your big issue will be removing all of the moisture from the system, after the compressor surgery.
System oil is another major concern. As per directions, measure that you remove from the compressor. Adjust accordingly. Meaning for example, (Random values, check specs for your system) if you were to have 4 oz of oil in the compressor, but you find only 3 oz (measured!), you are not down 1 oz. The entire system is 25% low on oil. Adjust accordingly. No biggie, but if you are not aware of these things, you will introduce moisture into your system, which will react negatively with the metal parts of the system, causing costly damage.
Always replace the receiver/dryer when you open an A/C system.
(it has oil in it, too...)
Really, dollars and cents, this job might want to be done by a trained professional.

Discharge of refrigerant is ******* most everywhere.

Where is the rear heater motor located on 2008 uplander

If the van has E59 on the RPO sticker you have to remove the left rear lower trim panel to access the motor. If it does not have E59 just remove the left rear compartment lid and compartment to access the motor. RPO E59 is a power left sliding door.

How many lbs. pressure a/c go'es into 2005 chevy uplander van

Empty with front and rear air - probably 2.5 lbs which is more than 3 cans.
There should be a sticker under the hood that says. Maybe in your owners manual too.

How do you remove the spare tire from a 2006 chevy uplander?

To remove the spare you need to access tools stored in the back of the vehicle, passenger side storage area. Open llftgate, remove net (if equipped), lift tab and remove cover to tool storage. Attach folding wrench to extension, insert 'chisel' end on an angle through the hole in the rear bumper and into the hoist shaft. Turn wrench counter-clockwise to lower spare enough so you can pull it from beneath the van to detach. Good luck!
