Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
My windows xp home system is running painfully slow any ideas. Also i keep getting the message the system has recovered from a fatal error. This apperars after the system restarts itself.
many thanks and kind regards. hristine
Could be a driver update issue. My kodak easyshare software regularly causes me grief when it updates itself. Have now removed it and use windows scanner/camera tool instead. Less glamourous, but less stressful !

It could be caused by memory failure. How much memory is installed on your pc?
Right click my computers then select, properties. Look for the Memory size. It's usually beside the speed of the processor. Does the size indicated the same as the size of the memory ram installed on your PC? if not, it is sure that one of your Memory module is bad.
If you have multiple Memory Module, Try removing them and leave only one of the modules then start your computer. If it works, Shutdown and try the other memory module. Continue doing this till you finished testing all the modules. Bad memory modules causes the computer to beep and restart. Replace the bad memory with a new one.
