Hi I had the same problem sent question to Singer and this was their reply
"Do you have Vista 32-bit or Vista 64-bits? Unfortunately the CE-100/200 machine will not be compatible with either Vista 64-bit systems or the newest Windows 7 computers. The CE-100/200 will only be compatible with Windows 98 through Vista 32-bit operating systems.
This appears to be a hardware issue and not something that we will be able to create a patch to correct. Drivers necessary for 64-bit operating systems are not compatible with the CE-100/200 machines." so I guess we are SOL
if a software/product is not compatible with vista, it is best not to use with vista. Either switch to xp, or buy another product which is compatible with vista. Most adpators nowawadays are compatible with vista, and i do NOT recommend buying a d-link product.
sir you should switch windows from vista to Xp. vista is not able to detect your phone due to some software problems in vista. thats the only thing which you can do thankyou for using fixya dont forget to rate the solution
hi there
the software is not compatible with vista and as the camera is around 5 years old, i doubt nikon will release a patch for it. that said you don't need that software anyway, just plug your camera in via the usb lead switch it on , click on my computer, find your camera, click on it and copy the pictures to where you want. you can then use virtualy any software to view and edit them. if you go to the freesoftware4all website they have some usefull free programmes you could use.
hope this helps
I have Vista Home Premium and I hotsync my peg-n760c using Palm Desktop. It came with version 4.1, but it was a disaster. The Cd is old and isn't compatible with Vista. So I downloaded an upgrade from Palm.com and I definitely don't use the Jukebox software that came with it either. Go to Palm.com and download PalmDesktop Win62.exe and install it. It should recognize your USB connection and hotsync immediately. Also, use Windows Media Player and change the files to mp3 by using a free program called Switch. Just google Switch and download the basic program. Then load the mp3 files onto your memory stick in Windows Explorer. Then use MSimport to load the memory stick files into your handheld. Good luck! terymo2
