What is wrong with A fridge that went completely dark but restarted after being unplugged for 10 minutes
Overnight fridge not completely dark - no cooling, lights or fan. Unplugged for ten minutes to test outlet and confirm all clean. Then plugged back in to do some volt test but it started after about 5 minutes. What may be failing that could cause this?

Unplug your refrigerator from the wall current. Wait 10 minutes and plug it back in. The powere outage may have tripped an internal breaker. Usually, unplugging, waiting 10 minutes and plugging the fridge back in....will reset the internal electronics. Good Luck!
YES...! After holding switch in up pos for 10 seconds, it went dark. Then I performed normal start up of Fuze (Holding switch for 1 2 seconds and it started up normal with display and is now recognized.
This problem ocurred when I left the unit plugged in to USB and closed lid of my laptop overnight. ( Laptop set to go into suspend mode)
If you changed the settings or unplugged it or the power to the house went out, then you have to wait a few minutes before the compressor can start up again. There is a sticker on the fridge that warns about that.
If it still hasn't started up when you read this, then:
1. Set the temperatures where you want them for the freezer & refrig.
2. UNPLUG power cord for 10 minutes (don't open either fridge or freezer).
3. Wait a full 10 minutes! Nothing will melt... check breaker to outlet, just in case...
4. Plug in power cord... It will start now..
Unplug the fridge overnight and defrost it completely. Ensure the thermostat is properly set.
If it does not restart normal function after you plug back, then there may be a fault concerning the digital control, in that case call the number listed on the owner manual.
Do it again, only this time unplug any video and audio inputs and outputs, unplug it from any power source, and leave it sit overnight.
I had the same problem with my Hitachi. I called a local repair shop and he said to unplug it for 10 minutes and start it again. That didn't work so I got it ready to take to the shop. I disconnected everything. The next morning I decided to check it one more time so I reconnected everything. It worked just as it had before.
Buzzing is usually a fan, like one in the freezer, or back bottom - for cooling the freon. The compressor over-heat usually will make a single click (off) and a few minutes later a click (on). If the fan in the freezer stops working well, the freezer will frost up and the fridge section will not be cold enough.
