Question about Maytag MAT13MN Top Load Washer
Set the drive belt over the drum, loosen the motor slightly, because I think you are cross treading the belt. check the belt before fitting to see if there is any damage to the belt. With your hand put the belt on to the drum, back onto the motor, turn very slowly until the belt finds it's own parallel (the grooves line up), then tighten the motor exactly where it is in place. If there is NO damage to the belt, set the machine onto a fast spin, empty. That should tell you it's a belt problem. But you may have to spend 10 bucks on a new belt. Cheaper than a new machine.
