Question about Televison & Video
I have a Vizio VW42LHDTV10A lcd tv. It has a common problem that most vizios have. It will turn on and can play anywhere from a few minutes to several hours then it will show vertical lines on the screen and a LOUD siren like noise come from the speakers. At this point you cannot turn off or control it with the remote. You have to disconnect power cord and reinsert it back in . At that point you can turn on with remote and it will function normal until it happens again.
The symptom can vary slightly with no siren sound and just the vertical lines in the screen.
I read some forums and found a common problem is the power supply board fries in these tv's. I replaced it with a NEW one.
Still have same issues. Only other board left is the main baord i beleive.
Need some giudance on what to look at.
Vizio tech says main board.

I would have told you MAIN board in the first place.
