SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

No pad sound

Not sure what module you're using this with, but I'm familiar with Roland electronic drum pads and modules, and guess the following would stand true for any pad / module combo....
I would check the following:

  1. Is the cable correctly connected at the pad?

  2. Is the cable correctly connected at the module?

  3. Is the module sound turned up?

  4. Are your headphones / speakers turned on & up
    (do other pads sound)?

  5. Is the fader for the specific pad (or pad group) turned up?
(On a Roland module, where the pad is AUX1 to 4 - the 'fader' button needs to be pressed in order to operate the AUX slider).

The next couple of things are less likely, but possible.

  6. Does the pad have a polarity switch on? - try switching it.

  7. Has he correct pad type been assigned in the module?

  8. Has an instrument been assigned to the pad
(Roland: Press INSTRUMENT, hit the Pad, select a sound)

If you get no joy with this - please drop me a message.

My KD-8 bass drum pad will now only trigger if it is hit really hard- I've tried altering the sensitivity at the brain to no avail any ideas please ? Thanks

SOME of these have a small potentiometer inside the pad part... The pot is VERY fragile and one needs a small jewler's screwdriver to adjust. You have to be careful as excess pressure on the screwdriver breaks the part off the circuit board inside. The access hole is only about 1/8 inch diameter.

My roland td3 drums are playing the crash noise on every drum i am hitting even when crash is disconnected, why is this please?

Your Xtalk filter is set too low. Refer to the owners manual for how to adjust individual triggers' sensitivity to "cross-talk" (vibrations carried from other pads)
My bet is you unplugged the crash trigger, but not the cable from the actual module (the brain). If you have a cable connected to the brain but not to a trigger, than any little bump to the end of the cable that isn't connected can be picked up as though you hit the pad normally. (play with the end of the cable a little, you'll see what I mean. It's kind of neat.)

Hooking up two roland brain modules.

No need to connect via MIDI. Just connect the pads to whichever and run audio out of each into seperate mixer input.

Unless you were going to use built in rhythms there is no real need to synchronize the units.

Does it have the option to load other sounds in it?

Here is the manual if you don't have it:http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/emi/english/ssdrums/dtxp4_en_om_d0.pdf The set comes with 427 drum/percussion voices and 22 keyboard voices. If you use a midi cable plugged into the midi out on the sound module you can control other midi sound modules and midi devices by plugging into the midi in on them. Page 30 of the manual describes some of the parameters. If this helps please let me know.
