Above the brake pedal, is an adjustable nut. It comes loose, so, touch the top of the pedal, feel for the nut, it has a lock nut on it as well, then tighten down to about 1mm of the pedal, then as soon as you brake, the switch will activate. Hope it works, let me know,

2003 silverado 1500 v-6 brake lights dont work

ljones, Did you check the "VEH stop" fuse in the left side instrument panel fuse box. There are 3 stop light fuses, 1 for all the stop lights located in the under hood fuse box. 2 in the left side IP fuse box. 1 for the upper stop light and 1 for the lower stop lights. The fuse box in the IP is where the upper and lower stop lights split. Let me know.

1996 isuzu rodeo problem

TO TROUBLE SHOOT ELECTRICAL YOU MIGHT NEED TO TRY A GOOD BULB OF CORRECT TYPE INTO SOCKET IN BRAKE FIXTURE THEN ALSO MAKE CERTAIN THE REGULAR TAIL LIGHT ELEMENT IS GOOD REPLACE FUSE WITHOUT PRESSING BRAKE LIGHTS ON IF FUSE IS OK THEN TURN ON THE RUNNING LIGHTS SEE IF THE ONE IN QUESTION IS COMING ON IF IT IS AND THE FUSE IS OK THEN PRESS BRAKE PEDAL AND SEE IF THE BULB LIGHTS WITH THE BRAKE ON ALSO THE FOUR WAY FLAHER IF FUSE IF STILL GOOD IT MIGHT ALLOW DASH LIGHTS TO COME ON MANY VEHICLES HAVE A SAFETY WAY OF LETTING YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NO TAIL LIGHTS BY ALSO TURNING OFF THE DASH LIGHTS.

1997 TOYOTA CAMRY BRAKE PROBLEMS

try checking the switch located on the pedal it will be a bit of a tight place so if you have a work light and a mirror your in good shape check up at close to the top of the pedal there should be a small switch that should be attached to a part of the firewall it probably has come off there should be a little slide on clip or a screw to attach it . if the switch has come off make sure it works before you put it back on if it is in place and not broken then check your fuse for the brake/tail/turn light not sure if all on same fuse try the fuse first
