I have this card and do not show video nothing and without the car I try to install the driver and software Cd but don't want to run. is my Pc totally incompatible? dell studio XPS 8000 thanks

Not neccessarily. Depending on the power rating, your 350W PSU may not be strong enough to power this card.

I would get a new PSU anyway. They are cheap nowadays and yours is very small. It will barely be enough to boot up the computer and its devices let alone a power hungry graphics card

How to connect external power to graphic card

Your Graphics card should have 2-6 Pin Power connections located on the Top Rear of the card. You would need to use an 8 pin to Dual 6-pin adapter cable for the Graphics Card.

I wanna know that is XFX 9800gt supported on intel DG31PR motherboard or any PCI express motherboard ? I also wanna know that is it a good combination of 9800gt DDR3 1gb and DDR2 RAM 2gb?? Please reply me...

nVidea 9800gt is a good card... probably not a question of if the MB will support it as much as if your power supply will. It needs a secondary 6 pin power connection.

Any MB with 16x PCI slow will run the board. The different RAM types on the MB and Video card will nto matter as much as the throughput of the PCI bus...

2GB ram on you main board, hope you are not running anything serious.... I do a fair amount of video with a 9500GT. Quad Core 2.66, 6 GB ram and am looking to upgrade to an I7 with 12GB and a nVidia 250 or better....

I got my new XFX NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS 512MB yesterday for my dell dimesion 9200 but when i was connecting it to the power supply the instructions say u have to "connect two molex connectors from the...

You can but a molex splitter so that you can plug the single molex you have into it and then have two, like a "Y". You will probably have to go online to a company like www.tigerdirect.com, www.newegg.com, or www.circuitcity.com who sell power supplys. I realize that means waiting a few days but the alternative is to either modify your PSU which voids the warranty or buy a different one. The splitter is inexpensive.

XPS 430 Vista 64..new power-corsair 750w w/4 6pin

I'm afraid your video card may be faulty.
I myself have an ATI and Corsair build. Installed without a hitch.
You'll need to replace the card. Good thing it is new.
If you haven't, buy some fans for your system as well and install them on your casing. That card runs hot. I have 5x120mm fans in my desktop and it keeps my system nice and cool when I run Crysis or Fallout 3.
But yeah, don't try and fiddle with that card anymore. Put it back in the box and replace it.

Please rate if this was helpful, or comment if you'd like further assistance. Have a good week!
