Since heater is calling for heat,i suspect ignitor is faulty.it could just be dirty.remove it clean with fine steel wool.

My 40-FAC heater will not ignite and run. The igniter has been replaced. What should I check next?

These models require electrical power to run the blower fan.
When you connect the electrical cord, the fan should turn on, then you should be able to start / ignite the propane. if the fan does not turn on when you connect the power cord, you will not be able to ignite the propane.

I have a rlp100 heater that works well but now has an annoying smell. It also burns your eyes some. It is 3 years old and hasn,t been used much. What can I do to get rid of the smell?

The smell is unburned propane and the burning of the eyes is caused by carbon monoxide. My heater (RLP100) does the same and I was able to measure the carbon monoxide at 95 ppm (deadly). I have yet to figure out what exactly is happening. Tried a new regulator/hose from a new unit - no help. Also pulled apart the burner nozzle and cleaned the holes - helped a bit. Next step is the valve.

H400 Lights, but turns off after 2 seconds

There may be a pressure regulator internal to the unit that has failed. For safety, most gas appliances monitor the output of the internal regulator; in a situation where the gas pressure is unstable, if the main burner does not ignite within a finite period, they will shut down to avoid a buildup of unburned gases that could pop your windows out (or worse) if the ignitor keeps trying.

Century Dyna-Glo Propane Construction Heater, fan stays on?

The heater is designed to continueously run the igniter , so as if there is a flame-out ,it will reignite the burner, and not dispurse unburned gas into your enviroment.

Coleman furnace blower runs continuously

You should be seeing 120 volts to the igniter. Anything less requires either a replacement of the transformer, start relay or control module.
