2005 Dodge Durango battery drain

Have you battery checked to make sure it is not dead. It can still have enough juice for the dome lights but not the turn over. Make sure to charge your battery fully before having it checked. If the battery checks out good then you should have the alternator checked. It is possible that it is on its last leg and not effectively charging your battery.

With only 3% of memory remaining my husband decided to perform a disk check but was doing something on the computer so clicked schedule for next start up (or something) so when I next turned the computer...

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause you problems

computers need all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a FLAT RIBBON 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail

check all electrical power input and extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

also check the Cmos battery and computer RAM modules make sure they are securely seated with no dust built up or in the sockets on some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

check you CPU make sure its securely seated and has thermal grease

My trusty 20 y.o. Panasonic NE-8180 starts, runs for a couple of seconds & then displays a message

It is important to observe if there is heating in the first few seconds of use. If not the possibility of the magetron or the HT main capacitor ebing faulty is high as this leads to a trip due to an error.
You need to check with the power switched on and care must be taken- shield used- to avoid any radiation injury.

My 1991 ford f250 will not even respond no clicking or grinding nothing at all when switch is turn over

I think you have a couple of problems going on here. First a solenoid would not cause the engine to lose power until it dies. This problem will probably be an alternator going bad, bad battery, or bad battery connections (check ground wires on engine, body, and battery then check positive wires on battery and to power distribution block). These related issues can be the root cause to solve the starting issue, which I will discuss now.
I recently repaired a 94 F-150 that would not even click when trying to start it. It was the push on connector to the solenoid on passenger inner fender well. I have also seen where this solenoid loses its ground (corrosion between screws and fender well). The 94 had two solenoids, one on the fender and one on the starter. To see if the solenoid valve is good, you can use a jumper wire from the hot side of the solenoid to the small terminal stud. If it clicks it should be okay and the ground okay. Be sure to have the vehicle in park or neutral with the parking brake on before doing this, because you are bypassing safeties.

Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller in Slot 02

Hi akwasi,

Try pressing F2 and look in the bios for a setting that says "Load Bios defaults". If you have any PCMCI cards inserted please remove them first and try a re-boot.

Have you added any new components on the PCI bus? If you have you need to make sure that the BIOS is allowed to reconfigure the interrupts. The device in slot 03 is conflicting with the integrated network controller hosted on the PCI bus. Remove the device in slot 3 and all should be well.

Most BIOS manufacturers allow the PC/Laptop to manage it's own interrupts, so ensure the device you've inserted allows for this. If it uses fixed interrupts this might be your problem.

A good manual should details the BIOS setting you can adjust in order to get the PCI controller happy again and allow the machine to POST correctly.

Regards,
