Question about Kodak ESP 5 Printer
If you are talking about the home center showing printer disconnected then try these steps......you were on phone with tech support so you must have tried it i suppose but still...........go to control panel and go to printers and faxes in XP and just printers in Vista and right click on the printer icon and delete it and then go to device manager...........for Xp click on start and click on Run and type devmgmt.msc and click on ok or press enter on keyboard and if its Vista then type the same devmgmt.msc in the start search box after you click on start button.......and in the device manager window click on the plus sign next to the Universal Serial Bus Controller and look for USB composite device....right click on it and uninstall it and then click on actions on top and click on scan for hardware changes.........this would bring the icon for the printer back and then open home center and check if it shows disconnected or not........let me know if this worked.......if not then i will give more troubleshooting steps...........
