Question about Samsung HLN617W 61" Rear Projection HDTV
Actually, changing the color wheel does not need to be done by a trained tech. Google "How to replace color wheel on Samsung DLP" and the post by Jangro.com is very helpful. It should take about 2 hours the first time you do it and the part costs ~$90 delivered to your door.

The color wheel is bad and must be replaced by a trained tech. Do not attempt yourself. Too tricky. Part# BP96-00250A
