The voltage is OK for the SO cord .. but since it is a field installed cord it needs to be sized for the amperage rating of the circuit supplying the fixture .. #12 for a 20 amp circuit, #10 for a 30 amp circuit etc.

How do I replace the Leviton Bi-Pin on a Linear Fluoresent Lampholder?

Take the end cap off the fixture case - unwire the old socket and reverse the process for installing a new socket.
The little slots on either side of the socket slide onto the fixture case.

How to connect a 3 floresent bulb ballast to 277 voltage power source

first you need to know that the ballast is 277 volts or you will fry it, 120 volt ballast will not work on a 277 volt system, i suggest that you need to get an electrician to help you with this, if you hook it up wrong it will cause a problem

On a 12 lead generator to achieve 480volts. would i have to tie 4 -7 5-8 6-9. 10 11 12 to neutral. and 1 2 3 are line leads. i can get 240 volts from my center taps, for my regulator. cause line to...

The terminals you listed are correct.
T4 -T7 mated
T5 -T8 mated
T6 -T9 mated
10, 11, 12 combined connection

L1, L2, & L3 = output / line leads

However you should have 277 VAC line to ground and 480 VAC Line to line (Across any 2 phases)

So terminals 1, 2 or 3 to ground should be 277 VAC (L1 L2 or L3)
1-2 or 1-3 = 480 VAC
any combination of
1 , 2, or 3 to each other = 480 VAC

As a "generator man" with 19 solutions one being "You might have to sting it" you should know this and be able to use the diagram on the power head to get your desired voltages unless the wiring data plate is missing. I have had to dial in voltage regulators when switching between 240 and 480 to prevent automatic shut downs from over / under voltage.

LP126HD3A rated for 265 volts AC single phase I have 240V ac single phase, how can I use this unit on 240V ac

You'd need to supply a "Buck-Boost" transformer to do this properly. Technically, the 265 VAC is one hot leg and neutral of a 480 VAC 3 Phase Y system that measures 277 VAC. The 265 number comes from this:

265 is the standard nameplate voltage for a 277 volt motor or AC unit.

230 is standard name plate for 240.
200 is standard name plate for 208
460 is standard name plate for 480.
110 is standard name plate for 120.

Most electricians call the hot leg / neutral circuit "277V AC".

Some popular "Buck-Boost" transformers will convert 208 to 240 and 240 to 208 volt systems, and 240 to 277 and 277 to 240 volt systems - among many other variations. These are auto-transformers as the primary secondary windings share a connection. KVA ratings differ significantly from name plate because of this fact. You should contact a qualified electrician to not only size, but wire the transformer for you. Failure to install a Buck-Boost transformer - and running this unit on 240V AC mains will cause premature failure of motors - fans and compressor due to overheating. This can also result in a fire hazard.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Can I connect 2 lights to this dimmer and how do I wire it?

If you want two fixtures to be operated by the same dimmer, it is easier to just connect the fixtures together by twisting leads together and then wire nutting them and then run one set of leads to switch. That way you meet all codes.

I need to convert this welder to operate on 400 volts,it currently operates on 240 volts,i have no tap diagram, can anyone help?

400 is a very odd voltage. You could use a stepdown transformer from 400 to 240, but that would be a very large transformer no matter what voltage you are starting at.

This must be a European or other country as the common USA voltages are 120, 240, 277, 480, 660 fior example.

Low voltage only or can timer be used for 110 v

1 hp= 750 watts
125 vac = 125 volts alternating current, wall outlets
5 amp= 5amps

125vac x 5amps= 625 watts

a timer is a switch with a clock on it. just like a switch in a lamp cord.

Certain dimmers can control standard incandescent lamps that use 120 volts while other dimmers can control low voltage xenon or halogen light sources that use 12 or 24 volts.
