You probably have a bad Main bd, T-Con bd or a bad LCD Panel. A trained Samsung tech will need to troubleshoot the set.

LN-S4692D samsung volume stuck in up or down mode.

Nothing else. Thee boards he replaced are the correct boards to fix this problem. You are going to have to get them replaced again. You can call samsung to see what is up, but when it gets down to it, you are going to have to get those boards replaced again.

46" LCD Samsung TV Model# LN-S4692D I have no picture

The back light inverter board may have gone out or it is not getting the 24vdc from the power supply module. Start checking for voltage feeding the inverter board.

Screen went black/blank can hear sound no picture, cannot change source or access menu LN-S4692D

Your inverter circuits and/or power board need servicing.....

Either three fault scenarios are happening:

1. the inverter circuits are not producing AC ripple too the CCFL lamps that illuminate the LCD glass panel.

2. the power supply board is not feeding 24vdc - 12vdc sustain voltage too the inverter circuits. Meaning, no dc high voltage output from the power board.

3. The timing control circuit (LCD Board) has shorted switching devices or on-board memory has failed....which causes data/dc loss at the input which results in the inverters canceling load power (lamps). The sync data between inverter and LCD Board are absent. This will result in a 'NO LIGHT' condition on the LCD display.

Number 3 is a rare case, its usually #1 the inverters need servicing.....

Hi! I was watching my TV - Samsung LN-S4092D - and the picture went to black with a few very light horizontal lines for about 30secs. After that it went to complete black. I thought it might just be that...

Hi Bob. The first Board to cause this problen is the Main bd. The next bd to cause this is the T-Con bd which is mounted on the Panel. Since you saw horizontal lines and that you have text on the screen and are missing audio from the tv means that the Main bd has gone bad. Have a trained Samsung tech service your tv. Call 1-8020-Samsung as they can direct you to a Qualified tech in your area.

Rainbow color effect appears when Samsung LCD plays Wii or DVD

Hello, I have a question which video inputs are you using for your DVD and Wii connections? The reason I ask is because this sounds like video distortion cuased by noise. If possible can you send a picture of the screen when it has this problem and send which video ports are being used? If it is noise in the video you may have a saw filter problem, or a decoupling issue. In any event I'll know more once you send those pictures and which inputs you are using for your DVD and Wii. LCD TV

I had a problem with a Samsung 46 inch LCD and it had audio and dim light but no picture and found out that the logic board toward the top (inside tv) was bad and was no longer available and the only way to fix it was to get the entire display panel (the logic board came with it) It was not costwise to repair. Hope this helps.
