There are a number of reasons why this might happen. I've noticed on the new style gas tanks you have to open the top valve on the tank very slowly in order for the gas to flow. Also, insects and spider webs get into the line causing a flow prolem. Your regulator might be defective or the burner itself might have moved from it's position where gas enters. Listen for the flow of gas amd be careful if you try to light it. Good luck!

My Uniflame grill may have a clog somewhere through the fuel delivery system, or at the the tank connection, how would I be able to find the culprit?

Hi boltbucrayfa...
I think your culprit is the gas regulator valve...
If it is not working properly then it will not deliver the proper amount of gas to the burners.
Check all your burners to make sure they are not plugged...
The when you are outside away from Flames and ignition sources.
Remove the hose from the the gas to the grill (you have the hose off the grill) and listen to the flow of gas...if it is very low then there is your problem.
You can shut off the flow of gas, then tap the gas regulator on the sides, top and bottom lightly with a hammer and then turn back on the gas to see if the gas flow increased...if it did, then shut off the gas and rehook up the gas line to the grill..and your good to go grilling again.
Some gas regulators have an adjustment under the removable cap.
If the gas flow did not increase, the replace the gas regulator

Gas will not flow to burner to light grill?

The new style OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem

Have gas at inlet but no flow at burners

If your grill has a regulator on it and you get gas before the regulator, but not at the burners, then your regulator is probably bad. If there is no regulator, or you get gas flow after the regulator, then you may have a blockage in the orifice(s) in the valves or the venturis in the burners.

I have a charbroil, advantage series grill. It isn't lighting.

How rusted are the burners? It is possible there is rusted metal blocking the gas ports. I don't have enough information from you regarding the you hear the gas flowing when you turn the burner open and the gas bottle is open?

Go to your user's manual, there should be an illustrated parts list. From there you can order new can also do this at Char-Broil's website.

Burner replacement is easy: take the grills out, then remove the flame tamers (the tent looking thing that sits over the burner to prevent flame-ups), the burners are screwed in to the grill at the back, remove the screws then grab the burner, pull towards the back of the grill and then up...this will disengage it from the gas valve in the front of the grill. Putting in a new one is the exact revers of this procedure...just make sure when you put the new ones in you make sure the burner's gas intake is connected to the valve at the front of the grill. Once done, you should be good to go.

Poor gas flow. Burners will not stay lit. Gas

Try taking a large hammer or set of vice grips and banging pretty heftily on the tubes feeding the burners. These are usually build ups of Carbon. If not, then make sure your connections are good (sort of move them around to see if they are loose), and make sure your propane is not getting too close to empty (you can shake it around and feel/hear the propane).
