Question about Clarion DC625 6-Disc CD Changer
CDAC ER2 usually means a cd is stuck, not reading properly, or that the magazine is stuck or broken. take out all cds and try it with a known good cd (one that played ok in the past). if that doesn't work, try unplugging the unit and plugging it back in.
if it still doesnt work, take the magazine out, power it up so that you get the "no mag" error, then insert the magazine with no discs and see if it still errors out with ER2. if it does, then the magazine is bad, or the changer is bad..
if it works, then try the known good disc again, if it works now, your magazine was probably stuck, or one of the other cd's isn't liked by the changer.
hope this helps,

Hey, I have the same system w/12 disc changer and my faceplate was stolen. Looks like I'll probably wind up getting a whole new system (what a pain!), so I have everything other than the faceplate if you need something. (head unit, 12cd changer)
