Question about Lasko 48" Xtra Air Tower Fan with Air Ionizer
Remote control does not do anything on my hunter ceiling fan. Light comes on on remote new battery but still does nothing.
Try holing the buttons for more than a second and the blades should start moving.

Most probable you have the same problem as I . Only mine does not turn on the light anylonger. I removed the controller from the fan assy and found the circuit board had fried for what ever reason. There is no replacement board available. So you will either have to wire in a new switch for the fan only, or replace it.
