Hi,

The normal steps to try here are to unplug the AV cable from the console and plug it back in, and do the same thing with the television. If that doesn't work, try connecting the Xbox to a different television. If you still have a black screen, the problem is likely inside the Xbox and you will need to get Microsoft to repair it.

I have no picture but hear the sound of the system on my tv

It could be 3 things:

Your tv connections are disconnected and need to be replaced. See if anything else works when plugged into these connections.

Your cable cord could have a disconnect internally and the cord needs replaced.

Your graphics card on you XBOX 360 is shot any you need to replace it.

Good luck and please rate my solution accordingly.

When i turn onmy xbox it comes up with a black scream an little green moving dots i can still hear the sound !!! why this happing

Try the switch on the xbox cable and make sure it is switched to appropriate TV (TV/HDTV). Try HDMI if possible and try a different cable. If none of these work it is a GPU or Motherboard fault and may not be fixable. Good Luck

Screen won't show up but this is diffrent

This happened to mine and it had to be sent back to be repaired (3rd time) as the graphics card had failed; it started with the display colours looking strange, then the picture went totally. If you can hear everything working (beeping/whooshing" as you go through the "blades", it sounds like you have the same problem. below is how to reset to the default display sttings just in case anything has gone wrong on this.

To reset the display settings of the Xbox 360 console to the default settings, follow these steps: (Copy and pasted from Microsoft support pages)
  1. Remove any discs from the disc tray.
  2. Turn the console off.
  3. Turn the console on.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn the console on by using the Xbox Guide button on the controller.

Note Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller is the controller where the upper-left quadrant light is on.
  4. As the console starts, press and hold the Y button, and then pull the right trigger at the same time. This causes the Xbox Dashboard to reset the display settings to the default settings and then automatically restarts the console. So it's OK when the Xbox 360 console restarts.

If this doesn't work then try phoning XBOX Support on 0800 587 1102.

I would try some of these troubleshooting steps;

  1. Make sure that the AV cables are 100% secure.
  2. Try an new AV cable.
  3. Try your console on a different TV.
  4. Call xbox customer support at 18004MYXBOX

X box

I would check it with another set of cables, then try it on another tv. Worst case scenario is that your Graphics Card has started to die and you will end up with a Red Ring of Death on the front of your console soon.
