Question about Refrigerators
I have a GE Profile PSC25MSWA SS refrigerator, just 1 year old. However, after waiting 3-4 months before changing the filter or using the water dispenser; I finally changed it and even after multiple times of using the dispenser, the taste of plastic resides in the water. I was wondering if this is due to any water becoming stagnant in the water lines? Not sure if my lines are plastic or not, but per reading online articles, it could be. Would this occur? How do I rid of the horrible taste. I would like to enjoy free water again.
If indeed it is stagnant water you have to find the water source tap off of your water supply. Then trace out the routing of the feed water line to your refrigerator. Turn off the tap, remove the line at both ends. You can abandon the existing line. Reroute the new line. or you can remove the old line and follow the same route. Reconnect the tap and refrigerator ends.
