SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I need to access my NetgearN150 from a command prompt as the GUI is not working can someone tell me if there are telnet or ssh commands available for this unit? The following lists the systems I am...

I think if you're using stock firmware you might be out of luck using ssh.
Still try telnet. (telnet IP address) if it was enabled before on the router (disabled by default.) If you have Win 7 you have to enable telnet in "Programs and Features/Turn Windows features on or off".
Find more info here.
Anyways - I would first try a 30-30-30 reset.
  1. Hold reset button for 30 sec.
  2. pull power whilst holding the reset button for another 30 sec.
  3. plug in power and keep the reset button holding for an additional 30 sec.
Let me know how that goes.

Tip

Vmware enable SSH

If you want to do advanced features in VMware ESXi you will need to go into the core of ESXi to do this you can use Secure Shell or SSH. SSH is simplar to telnet but the data is encypted.
To enable SSH on VMware ESXi you need to enter an the ‘unsupported’ mode.
Step 1. At the physical console of the ESXi server press the Alt+F1 key combination.
Step 2. Type ‘unsupported’ and then press <Enter>. Note that nothing will appear on the screen whilst you type.
Step 3. When prompted enter in the ‘Root’ password and press <Enter>.
Step 4. You will now be presented with a prompt on the console. From this prompt type the following command
vi /etc/inetd.conf
Step 5. vi (the file editor) has now opened the inetd.conf file. Using the direction arrows scroll through the lines until you reach the line that has ‘#ssh’ and remove the hash (ie: #). This is effectively un-commenting this line so that the ssh service can be started.
Step 6. Now that you have made this minor file you want to save this change and exit out of the editor (vi). To do this press the ESC key (to put vi back into Command Mode) and then type ‘:wq’ *Note: If you want to exit without saving any changes to the file then just press the ESC key (Command Mode) and then type ‘:q!’.
Step 7. With the SSH service now un-commented from this file we need to restart out ESXi box to do this type in Reboot.

SecureCRT - Version 6.2.2 (build 263) [LOCAL] : SSH2Core version 6.2.0.263 [LOCAL] : Connecting to 10.252.105.6:22 ... [LOCAL] : Changing state from STATE_NOT_CONNECTED to STATE_EXPECT_KEX_INIT...

This log shows you are connecting to a Cisco router running SSH protocol version 1, but you have set your SecureCRT to require using SSH version 2.

You either need to either

Set the SecureCRT software to allow connections using SSH version 1

or

upgrade your Cisco device to support SSH version 2.

Please let me know if Filezilla is HIPAA compliant. If it is not do you know if other FTP programs are? Thank you

FTP clients are typically HIPPA compliant. HIPPA requires that FTP clients be HIPPA compliant through SSL, TLS or SSH/SFTP with at least a 128-bit secure connection. Filezilla supports FTP over SSL/TLS (FTPS) and SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP). In other words you are OK to use Filezilla.

Cisco asa5505 problem

You seem to have the last resort (o.o.o.o) set to VLAN1 which is set as an inside interface.
Is VLAN1 connected to the outside router or internet backbone?
If not, change the last resort to the outside Ethernet port.
