Cant remember my log on password for my asus laptop whats the master reset password?

There is no such thing as a master over write password.
You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Click on one of these links to download HIREN'S BOOTCD :- http://www.hirensbootcd.net/ http://67.20.82.163/

Master Reset?

Meaning?

A) Master Password:
Laptop is taken down to nearest authorized agent, (Dealer or Repair Shop), and a Master Password is asked for.

You need to bring;
1) Form of Identification
2) Receipt for purchase of laptop
3) Credit Card or Debit Card

Authorized agent contacts laptop manufacturer.

Once the laptop manufacturer checks out whether the laptop is stolen, or not, (By their records), and receiving copy of ID, copy of purchase receipt, and fee, they will grant a Master Password.

The authorized agent then uses the master password, and sets another password of your choice, or No password if you choose.
The master password is Not given out.

B) Master reset being, reset the laptop back to the way it was, Day 1 from the factory.

Use the Restoration Disk, (CD)
When asked perform a Full Install.
Also known as Destructive Installation.

ALL personal records stored will be Gone.
1) No photos,
2) No videos,
3) No personal documents you have created, or downloaded,
4) No programs you have physically installed, or downloaded.

NOTHING is saved past Day 1 from the factory.

C) Windows installation disk:

Use the same Windows operating system, (i.e., Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, etc), from a NEW genuine copy of Windows.

Go into the BIOS Setup (utility), and in Boot Options, set the first boot device to CDROM.

This way the laptop will boot from the Windows CD.

"Master reset is a term used to describe the process of restoring an electronic device's FACTORY settings."

Have no clue what MFP - 05333449 is.

The laptop Model Number, (Product Number for HP), is on the Bottom of the laptop. (Or Netbook)
[ For example HP has a white Service Tag on the bottom.
P/N = Product Number ]

I want to reset my Toshiba Satellite Pro SP-6000 BIOS Password. I have the bootable CD XPSP2 but I can ran it on the drive. so far I want to set on the CMOS setup to boot from the CD but it's show me...

BIOS passwords in modern portables require a master password to bypass/reset if the original password is lost forgotten. You will need to contact Toshiba Tech Support and if the system is not under current warranty that will probably require payment to resolve.

I have a fa50 and no longer have a relation ship with the Furuno dealer. How can id get the login name and password, is there a master reset to factory default and a setup username and password?

The following web page is the manual for your device: l
http://www.furunousa.com/ProductDocuments/FA50%20Operator's%20Manual%20B%20%207-08-09.pdf
On page 26 you will see the instructions for the password. Please note that the password is known only by the dealer, so you will have to get it from them. I could find no reference to a resetting of the password, and this appears to be a security precaution established by the manufacturer.
You will have to get the password from the dealer.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
