I have a robo-kleen pool cleaner which stops

I have a robo-kleen pool cleaner. The power supply still lights up and filter water is initially pumped through the top of the unit, the unit then moves along the bottom of the pool for a brief time and then stops.

If debris is entering the bag, it may be as simple as that. The bag is clogged. We typically recommend hand cleaning a pool before using an auto cleaner specifically for that problem. You might have to remove and clean the bag 50-75 times. Much easier to hand vac first. If no debris is getting into the bag before it stops, it could be a problem with the motor. we have seen them "short cycle" and require replacement. Rob

Robo kleen pool vaccum- not sucking- wheels move - prop on top turns very slow

if you hear a buzzing sound
there is water in the motor
if it drives ok, the power supply should be ok
try draining the water out of the small plate and plug shown
when you take out the filter bag
it will probably happen again
but a motor can be expensive to replace

I have a Robo Kleen robotic pool cleaner, it still moves around but is no longer picking anything up. The bag is clean. Can I purchase a pump for it?

You should be able to purchase pumps for these automatic pool cleaners from a pool supply company, but I would take it to a professional first. It could be something that is easily fixed without purchasing an expensive part.

Robo kleen stopped sucking

Make sure that your filter bag is clean and free of obstructions. You will also want to check your impeller to be sure that nothing has jammed it. A jammed impeller actually occurs pretty frequently on these automatic pool cleaners.

Robo Kleen pool cleaner troublshootong

One thing that you might want to try on these pool cleaners is removing the limit screw on the axle for greater angle of tandem wheels. Make sure your filter bag is not clogged or partially clogged because this cause restrict movement. Check for debris jammed in your drive system (wheels, axles, etc.)
