Hi, model number is Samsung RSG5UCSL but the manual doesn't mention a drip tray anywhere. Pulled the one panel off the bottom rear and couldn't see a tray in there or how to get to it if there was one...
Also couldn't see one from the front taking the kick guard off...
Rsg5ucrs try that thanks
That's a UK model. Are you in the UK?
I cannot find a drip tray that is available to purchase, which MIGHT mean that it does not have one or it is maintenance free and is a part of the condenser, which is common now for American refrigerators and I notice this model is a UK model that is called and American-Style refrigerator.
Still, the odor problem is not solved.
If you will answer the following questions, it might help me find the problem:
1.) Can you smell the odor outside the refrigerator when the doors are closed?
2.) Can you smell it more stongly when it is running?
3.) If you get down and find where the "warm" air is coming from when the unit is running, can you smell it strongly there?
4.) Does the odor exist only in the fridge side, the freezer side, or both?
5.) Do you have odorous cheese inside or nearby? (That's only kind of a joke, mate.)
I look forward to your answers. By the way, that is a very nice model.

Spray a good quantity of WD-40 on the spindle of the fan motor where it enters the motor itself. This should get the fan working smoothly with no noise. This will probably solve the other problems, as the fan prevents various components from overheating and shutting down.

I had the same problem, It's because you have tried to press the button with the door open to get the tray to rotate. If your pressing the overide button with the door open you need to pretend the door is shut by pressing the hinge thing (it's half way down the left hand side of the freezer, turns the light out aswell) or else it the tray tries to do a 360 whitch it can't. You have to force it back to central. I can get mine to work and water is coming out of the water shute but no water is going into my ice tray to make the ice. I put some normal ice in and it dispences ok but it just wont make it's own. Anyone got any ideas ?

Hello. yes. The tray can be slid out. Before you do this, unplug your fridge. Then remove the lower front grill, it just lifts off. Grasp the tray and gently pull it forward. J.

Would you please double check that model number? I'm not finding it as a Samsung model. Thank you.
Hi, yes in the UK.
Can only really smell it why you open the door, its fridge side only, I have cleaned the inside and smells a little less than it did but it's still there.
Not sure where the hot air is coming from but can't notice it.
I did open some Parmesan about a week ago, but is in a self seal bag, and when smelling the bag can't notice the odour. Maybe I'll bin it and see if that makes a difference.
Have put a bowl with lemon juice and water in it which may have helped the smell..
It's been a great product until just now
Really appreciate you taking the time to respond by the way
An open box of baking soda will help to absorb smells in a refrigerator some times.
